Your subscription box is sent out during the fourth week of every month and typically arrives within 5–7 business days. Your first box ships the same month you subscribe, and after that, your card will be charged on the 15th of each month.

No extra steps are needed, your child’s reading journey arrives at your doorstep automatically. If you ever need to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it on our online platform or shoot us an email help@missdebbie.co.

How does the subscription work?

Subscriptions renew monthly. Your card is charged mid-month, and boxes ship during the last week of each month. You can easily manage your subscription through our website.

What supplies do I need?

Everything is included inside the box, just open and go! The only item we don’t provide is scissors (for safety reasons).

When will my child finish the program?

The first 7 months cover all letter sounds, no matter when you begin. Once complete, your child can continue with Step Two (COMING SOON) beginner reading books and blending activities.

How much time will it take?

Just 15 minutes a day is all you need. Short, focused sessions keep kids engaged and parents stress-free.

  • The Road to Reading Box is designed for children ages 3–5 who are ready to explore letter sounds. It also works well for early First Graders who need extra practice and for struggling readers who benefit from hands-on reinforcement.

  • Yes. You can pause, skip a month, or cancel anytime through your customer portal. There are no contracts or hidden fees.

  • Each activity takes about 10–15 minutes. Parents can choose to do one activity a day or repeat favorites until a child masters the sound. The short sessions fit easily into daily routines without overwhelm.

  • Each box comes with 20+ hands-on activities, 24+ worksheets, weekly calendars, a rewards chart, and a materials pouch. All supplies are included (except scissors for safety reasons), so you can open the box and start learning right away.

  • Every month introduces four new letter sounds. Over the course of seven months, children are exposed to the full set of foundational sounds. After completing this first stage, families can continue with step two: beginner reading boxes that focus on blending and reading words.

  • Not at all. Each activity comes with clear, step-by-step directions written by a veteran teacher. Parents and caregivers can feel confident leading the lessons, even without prior teaching background.
